About The Event

Each month I share a gathering for women in my home in Mount Juliet called "A Women's Circle | A Space To Be".

It is a gathering for sacred sound, circle, connection, reflection,  gratitude, healing and more. This is a time for women to gather and BE.  To remember, reclaim and feel our natural power rise individually and  collectively. This is a time for us to use our voices and power to bring  union with our souls path and divinity.

Come as you are and  leave changed. Celebrate the beauty and wisdom of women who are real,  connected and making change. Those who traverse into the darkness and  come out wielding their light for good. You know who you are. You are welcome.

This month Katherine Correa will be sharing her deep wisdom of Breema and guiding us in practices for ourselves and in partnership with another.

Breema is for anyone interested in more body mind connection in their life. It is for people interested in yoga, meditation, massage, healthy aging and/or conscious development of the Self. This experience is valuable to anyone wanting access to more physical, mental, and emotional balance.

Breema is based on a profound understanding of the underlying unity of all life, expressed through the Nine Principles of Harmony. Breema bodywork and Self-Breema exercises, practiced with these Principles, use natural rhythmic movements that are both nurturing and vitalizing.

Breema bodywork combines nurturing touch, firm yet gentle stretches, playful rhythmic movements, holding, tapping and more - renewing balance in mind, body, and feelings. Sessions are received fully clothed on a well padded rug or mat. Self-Breema exercises are sequences done on one's own body. They are an opportunity to experience being both the practitioner and the recipient at the same time.

Please be comfortable sitting and moving on a padded floor. As stated above, there will be partner exercises involved so invite a friend or come prepared to connect with someone new! For additional information go to www.nashvillemindandbody.com/breema.

Katherine Correa is a Licenced Massage therapist in the state of TN, Certified Breema Practitioner, Certified Feldenkrias Practitioner®, and has maintained a bodywork practice since graduating from the San Francisco School of Massage in 1986. She earned certification to practice Breema® Bodywork in 1989, Feldenkrais® in 1994, and to teach Breema in 1991.

Katherine was a faculty instructor at Nashville's Natural health Institute for 8 years and has been teaching Breema to massage therapists, and the public since 1994. The most active Breema instructor in the South, she has also taught throughout the region, at the Breema Center, and in Germany. Her classes are playful and fun, as well as effective in demonstrating and teaching the practice and principles of her work. Katherine continues her studies of Breema, Feldenkrais and somatic education. She has been teaching somatic education classes for several years.

Her backround includes extensive self study of the work of Byron Katie - a simple process for clarity and peace of mind.

Plan to bring a journal, yoga mat, comforter/thicker blanket, snack. Additional details will be sent to those who register on Friday, August 23rd - including the address where we gather.

We hope you will join us for this powerful, transformative experience.
