About The Event
Please gather with us on the Winter Solstice, Saturday, December 21, 2019 to honor and welcome the slow return of light as the depth of winter arrives. Co-facilitators Sadie Hart and Karen Renée will lead a creative exploration of movement, drumming, sound, and song in this nourishing 2.5 hour ceremony.
What to bring: Please wear comfortable & cozy clothing for movement, and bring your own mug! Mats, blankets, props, and tea will be provided!
Who: Anyone who identifies as a woman.
Facilitators: Sadie Hart | Founder of Sadie Hart & the High Vibes Fueled by her love of music, travel, and wellness, Sadie Hart from Saint Louis, MO has made a name for herself in creative circles around the globe. From studying music and theatre in London, to headlining shows in the New York City songwriting scene, to teaching yoga in the jungles of Costa Rica, Sadie strives to be well, serve well, and turn her experiences into song. Influenced heavily by The Beatles, The Everly Brothers, Bob Dylan, and the Great American Songbook from her extensive musical theatre background, Sadie’s award-winning songs have garnered praise—most recently, her song “Dirty Little Secret” nabbed a spot in the American Songwriter Magazine Lyric Contest. Sadie travels the country in her van sharing music, yoga, workshops, & women’s circles. She currently resides in Nashville, TN and is completing her next record of original music. Karen Renée Robb | Founder of Frame Drum Wisdom Karen Renée is a vocal and visual artist with over 30 years of vocal performance experience. Her passion for live sound, creativity and compassion has led her to assist others in reclaiming their voice, innate rhythm and creative expression through the use of the frame drum. A mid-wife for the souls expression, Karen Renée brings her whole self into the experiences she facilitates. Helping to awaken and support others in meaningful, memorable ways, she makes the Healing Arts accessible and a vital part of personal growth and development. Karen Renée is a Sound & Reiki Clinician, Reiki Master Teacher, Circle Facilitator, and Universal Life Minister. Available for group facilitation and private session.
